Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
An instrumental intro for a new musical project.
Lyrics
voice samples ... "this winding staircase leads to a place where time has stood still". "it does get bigger down here". "that does not mean of course, that the pound here in Britain, in your pocket, in your purse or in your bank account has been devalued...". "There are many secret tunnels and old corridors deep underground which the public can no longer get to see ...".

Great work on the guitars on this tune! Falling asleep on the tube and ending up in some unknown place outside time and space sounds pretty frightening :) This is really a well played and well produced song! The only thing I would mention, is that the drum fills with the toms, sound a bit midi, but that is a minor detail.

I can relate, I travelled those tunnels & stations for years! Excellent tune, very well produced & performed. You definitely have a signature sound!

Another fantastic instrumental! As soon as I heard that guitar intro I thought this is David with a little hint of George Harrison’s solo days guitar sound . Always love the way you put voice samples in and remember the Wilson quite vividly ! Great guitar and melody Work and love that spacey feel you get on your recordings . Brilliant as per !

Don't fall asleep on the last tube home or you might end up in Morden (the absolute ... 'End of the Line') ... so keep listening to this tune on your device, I'm sure it will keep you awake :) The old Harold Wilson quote about the devalued Pound £ is quite apt as of today , 3rd. April 2025 !
