Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Story behind the song
I was looking to record an instrumental that featured the raw, un-altered sound of the guitar and not to rely on effects. Each guitar (whether fitted with Humbucker pick-ups or single coil pick-ups) has a unique signature sound, that we as guitarists very rarely allow ourselves to hear or use. I only allowed 'Compression' and 'Reverb', effects to 'colour' the sound. Some special stereo effects such as (Dopler/Flanging) and natural sounds were added later at the mixing stage. The core of the instrumental was totally improvised. Only first takes were allowed. As a result, the actual, 'chord structure', is very simple.

Very trippy! I could definitely do with listening to this track a few more times, very chilled out music/sounds....relaxing, dreamy....love it!!
