My name is Troy Donoughue, I'm a good freind of Eric Beauchemin, and I'm the admin to his music on this site. Eric was a gifted singer, songwriter, and musician, and he recorded so many wonderful pieces of musical art. Unfortunately in May of 2022, Eric passed away and left behind a beautiful library of music. Eric trusted me with his songs, as he knew I was just as much a fan as I was his friend. I can't let Eric's music just simply fade away, so to honor the man that was so musically talanted, I have incorporated all the songs here that I'm sure he would want to share. Eric may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. Just like your song says, "Say Goodbye To Yesterday". See you in the future Beauch. RIP. Love you! - Troy

Story behind the song
The lyrics to this song were written by Troy Donoughue in 1994 about a current girlfriend at the time. Eric wrote the music on his guitar, and after this recording was completed, they would perform it live a few months later at a Halloween party for Troy's girlfriend. Troy sang the lead vocals while Eric and Doodle provided the back up vocals. This would be the first and only original song collaborated between these three friends, so they called it an official "T*E*D*" song (for Troy, Eric, Doodle). This would later be changed to an official "The Steel Scream Project" song to be released on one of Troy's albums.
