Just another singer/songwriter. I play all my own instruments (except drums) and record on a Boss BR1200CD standalone multi-track recorder
Just an old Back To The Land hippie that stuck to his plan.

I have never seen anyone cross genres the way you do. Mr. Pine, you are a musical chameleon. I just love your vocals on this song. There are a lot of subtleties in the way you articulate, that really make this song pop. It could be just an average tune, but your execution brings it to life. I love vocals where syncopation comes into play. You totally killed it. Bravo!

Very fitting song for the challenge - great to hear you recording so much again - this reminds me of the Stax/Volt/Muscle Shoals sound a bit. Nice work!

well put together song, buddy. the tone of the instrumental portion fits the lyrics like a glove. nice solid feel to it, comes across with authority and power as it should for this type of song. good story, good delivery, nice production as well. the ending is very cool too.

Nailed it here Charlie! Great barroom country rocker straight out of Nashville. Cool lyrics and great vocal. The phrasing reminds me of Johnny Cash, although your voice is more melodic and in a higher register. And that slide is awesome!

Great song! The lyrics really paint the picture and the sound is just great. I swear I could hear the clack in the corner from some guys shooting pool. That steady-hand slide is fantastic, so cool with just a hint of attitude. Charlie you really killed it here.

When I think 70s cop show, I think Dirty Harry ;) This could have fit in one of the movies scenes with that great catchy Country and R&B feeling. Cool tune Pine!

Love the vibe of this song, great lyrics too, it really sets the scene and paints a picture of intrigue and mystery. I hear a slight Dire Straits flavor in this song. Excellent stuff!
Wow, this is an authentic Blues with a very strong 70's mood. I like the way this song has been created. So very simple with nothing too much and nothing too less. Nice lyrics, vocals and guitar play. And of course that organ had to be there as well. Good job!
