As a refugee from the 60's and the coffee house era, I have been playing as a solo artist as well as in various duets, trios and bands from Canada to England, India, Nepal, USA, and places in between... played in classic rock, country and folk bands. I try to keep my songs as light and personal as possible in the acoustic genre. A lot of my songs speak on social issues and I try to relate to the common man/woman (like myself) and the things that are important in our journey thru this time span called life. The recording/production is not professional by any means. I usually try to do one-off takes and work around the tracks to enhance the sound in the limited time and equipment I have available. I hope some of these songs will touch a place in your heart or evoke a feeling of shared consciousness. All comments and critiques are welcome. All the best.

Lyrics
I see her from my window now, a wee white tiny glow She calls out to me in a foreign language I don't know A world I knew so little of now seems so close to me As I for a moment gaze upon her rolling on the sea. In those busy morning hours when my thoughts are hard to find That tiny vessel takes control of the rudder of my mind A voice inside that questions, Where is home forever more Lies anchored on the evening tide tugging at the oars. Chorus: Little boat on the sea floating aimlessly You are just like me longing to be free. I know that soon she will be gone, to where I don't know She calls but I can't answer for I'm stuck upon the shore Then she plants her mast and hoists her sail in the vessel of my mind And we sail into the tempest wind as the shoreline fades behind. We chart our course in spite of storm not knowing what we'll find As we venture ever onward in the voyage of my mind And as we taste of sights and sounds that never have we known I ponder deeper on the greater lesson I've been shown For tho' my body lies in port and I'm watching from afar I have journeyed 'round the world and touched a distant star And I have dared to sail out on the waters which I feared And taken the rudder of my life in hand and I have steered. Life is short, will soon be gone to where I don't know God help me not to live it out here stuck upon the shore Plant your mast, hoist the sail and blow your wind on me And guide my tiny vessel over deep and troubled sea. Now I thank thee little fishing boat out bobbing on the sea Tho' you're just a wee white glow I've taken heart in thee For in your stark simplicity great wisdom can be found A human soul longs to be free and never, no never should be bound.
