An acoustic song about the difficulties of raising a small child by yourself. It is sung and harmonized by the wonderful Kim Krimm (Kimba). Also listen to "American Dream" if you like her style. (Scroll down for more)

Story behind the song
I never had kids of my own. I was always able to enjoy other people's children for a while and then GIVE THEM BACK. Kind of like checking a book out of a library. Then one day I began to wonder what it would be like to have that responsibility 24/7.
Lyrics
Every second, every day I watch him play And he never lets me rest; So much energy when you’re almost three, And he can get the best of me; So much work for only one- But he’s my son. He’s starting to say what he hears me say, And that isn’t always good; He tries to do what he sees me do So he knows more than he should; He keeps me on the run- But he’s my son. Everything is fresh, Everything is new, Everything is so extraordinary When you’re two. Every second every day that he’s awake I’m on guard; And I love him so as I watch him grow, But, oh, sometimes it’s hard; I have to do what he needs done- ‘cause he’s my son. Everything is fresh, Everything is new, Everything is so extraordinary When you’re two.
