Story behind the song
I was a parts deliverer for NAPA when when I came up with my song, Amy! I was literally on a run to drop off parts at an auto shop that was out in Security, Colorado! I just started singing bits & pieces of the song and while sitting at a stoplight, I began to write the song on the back of a parts receipt! I was singing the song in my head while delivering the parts and in the way back to my store, the song came to life! That's how Amy came about! ??????
