Meditational solo acoustic guitar arrangements of traditional and contemporary hymns and original sacred melodies.
Welcome! I enjoy playing solo fingerstyle guitar in a relaxed style that incorporates the familiar melodies of sacred songs, Christmas carols, and a few originals, too. I hope you enjoy listening to the guitar instrumentals I have here. The recordings of the Christmas carols began as an idea to send a CD "greeting card" to friends and family last year. I've updated the list with some more songs and I invite you to share the music. I only ask that if you do enjoy the music, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity if you are able. Especially at this time of year, any gifts we have are most appreciated. Thank you, Stan Stepnowski

Lyrics
I HEARD THE BELLS ON CHRISTMAS DAY Henry Wadsworth Longfellow 1. I heard the bells on Christmas day Their old familiar carols play, And wild and sweet the words repeat Of peace on earth, good will to men. 2. I thought how, as the day had come, The belfries of all Christendom Had rolled along the unbroken song Of peace on earth, good will to men. 3. And in despair I bowed my head 'There is no peace on earth,' I said, 'For hate is strong and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men.' 4. Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: 'God is not dead, nor doth He sleep; The wrong shall fail, the right prevail With peace on earth, good will to men.' 5. Till ringing, singing on its way The world revolved from night to day, A voice, a chime, a chant sublime Of peace on earth, good will to men.
