Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something.
I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Donovan! Definitely a guiding star and through my youth we turned to his songs when we wanted to sing together at parties. This one and Donna, Donna, Try for the sun, Mellow Yellow - classic songs! You give this one new life with your busking version! Super work.

I really like what you've done with this song, it sounds live & works brilliantly with the sounds of traffic...I recognise those taxi engines & squealing brakes! I must have listened to loads of buskers over the years, especially in London...they were all trying to catch the eye of EMI A&R executives on their way to work in Manchester Square lol. Brilliant rendition of this song!

That’s a great version ! Prefer it to the original. Genius to use the inbuilt mics on your recorder ! Gives a really authentic sound of being outside and always love your samples ! Guitar sounds great ( I’ve got a Yamaha APX 500 for teaching . Great guitars ! ) vocals are perfect and I actually love the authentic harmonica ! You could have used a keyboard harmonica so bravo ! Brilliant !

I've also always loved this tune. I can almost smell the petrol and brake fluid in your rendition. Beautiful rendition.
Didn’t hear the original. This is an excellent live recording. Donavan the master Travis picker. And harmonica a nice live touch you are a troubadour. Has a Dylan feel.
