As soon as I saw Mike and Gabe I knew I was about to hear something special. You certainly don't disappoint. :) I had to listen twice just to confirm I heard right, just a guitar and a voice but it feels like it's much, much bigger than that.

Excellent gentlemen. Nice instrumental work and a great gift to the kids if I understood your inspiration Mike. Great line too Gabe my life started the day I met you. And I was glad to see you out of retirement and then I was shocked to see you said it has been two years. Oh my. Great collab to both of you.

This was not an easy song to sing to let alone write the beautiful lyrics but Gabe came through with flying colors!

The instrumental could stand out on its own. Adding Gabes voice and lyrics gives the listener a deeper look into the composition. His voice is really well suited for the tone and feel of this work. Real good job. Both the singing and the guitar reaches out and grabs the listener.

Very nice instrumental work Mike. I think Gabe read your emotions well as his lyric captures the essence of the sentimental vibe. It's not an easy song to sing with so many note changes that need to be on the mark... no place to hide in such a minimal production (of which i'm a fan). Overall, I think it's a fine collab and i'm glad to see you dragged him out of his recent "retirement". Good job by you both!
