Blaqheart is an EDM DJ/Songwriter/Producer who creates music with an unique and original style coined "Blaqstep" for its versatile themes, mystic arpeggios, crispy hi-hats and seductive basslines. Blaqheart says "I just go with what sounds and feels good at the time and rock with it. Hopefully somebody out there will appreciate the track and effort, maybe they'll find themselves unconsciously tapping their foot or showing off on the dance floor somewhere tonight." Blaqheart initially was introduced to EDM in 2006 by DJ RM and Relic of Bassment Krew after relocating back to native Pennsylvania from Baltimore MD. After befriending Relic and RM, Blaqhizzeart was took under the wing, shown the ropes and schooled in the different genres of EDM. It would now seem destine that this new fire desire to craft underground intelligent hi- bass laden talent spun on technics 1200 decks dialed in to traktor pro spewing a perfect harmonious mix would be laser etched and grafted into D.T. Martin's (aka Blaqheart) complete musical being. From a very early age music and musical instruments has constantly conveniently been a part of Blaqheart's life (Pre-Awakening), piano lessons, guitar lessons, school band and a little bit of FL studio's fruity loops. Soon after attending his first rave/party he bought 2 hand-me-down direct drive numark turntables from DJ RM and a vestax mixer and began the journey later venturing into music production which continues today.
